Our client is now seeking for high caliber candidate to fill up the following position:
Job Duties:
- Lead the Merchandising department
- Monitoring the critical path from product development to goods delivery
- Keep abreast of the market trend
- Manage customer relationships and changing needs in an effective manner
- Set sourcing strategies for China, Vietnam, and Cambodia as part of product development
- Negotiate and achieve best pricing and terms by devising and executing sourcing and account strategies
- Grow customer accounts by providing insights and directions on business model based on the company’s strengths and dynamic global market situation
- Set up sales and sourcing strategies and targets for different sales regions / customers / suppliers and to strive for meeting / exceeding the related KPIs
- Experience in lingerie manufacturing is a MUST
- Station in China for 4 days per week and in HK for 1 day per week
- Occasional overseas travelling required
Requirements:
- Degree om Fashion / Textiles or related disciplines
- Min. 10 years' experience at managerial level in the apparel industry
- Proficient in computer applications, such as MS Office / ERP system
