Job Description:

• Shape the sustainability approach and programmes and improve the social and environmental performance of our supplier factories in Asia, with a focus on China, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
• Keep the sustainability programme at the leading edge and find new approaches to strengthen worker participation and social dialogue.
• Manage WE Program implementation and be representing our work externally, constantly be in touch with business partners, interact frequently with important stakeholders and keep track of emerging sustainability issues in Asia and worldwide.

Requirements:

• 8 years’ relevant experience in corporate social responsibility or international development topics with a focus on production
• Good knowledge in different aspects of labour standards implementation in global supply chains (ILO conventions, social and environmental auditing, stakeholder management)
• Ability to engage on a par with factory managers, workers and (critical) stakeholders
• Ability to think strategically and conceptualize programmes
• Excellent communication skills (communication to headquarters, local office, supply chain partners and other external stakeholders, like NGOs, trade unions, etc.)
• A solid track record in project management, ideally in an international setting
• Excellent presentation, moderation, and negotiation skills
• Experience in facilitation or change management is an asset
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Willing and flexible to travel regularly and frequently
