Job Description
Our client, a well-known company in industry, now is seeking for high caliber to join their team:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full range of product design including concepts, trend research, product development, collection design, 2D & 3D garment sampling and prints design
- Work with customers’ design teams and internal merchandising teams to understand style and collection requirements (e.g. tech pack, mood boards) and translate such requirements into manufacturable designs
- Deliver design presentations to customers’ design teams
- Actively track and follow up on samples & new design projects from ideation to pre-production
- Research and analyze market trends and commercial needs
- Conduct ongoing research and continuously keep abreast of latest 3D design tools and techniques
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma in Fashion & Textiles, digital fashion, 3D design
- With minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in raw material sourcing, styling, prints design, and graphic development in both 2D and 3D
- Good command of Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D virtual apparel software (e.g. Browzwear, CLO, Optitex; Browzwear is highly preferred)
- Creative and able to work independently with strong fashion sense
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Occasionally travel to China factory for sample development and overseas for customer design presentations & market research
