Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic procurement & sourcing plans, supplier management, and inventory control in order to achieve organisational goals;
• Set up targets for the purchasing functions and be responsible for budget preparation;
• Set up operation procedure and KPI requirement for suppliers to achieve organisational objectives;
• Assess, evaluate, and manage suppliers' performance, such as on-time delivery, quality assurance, and cost competitiveness;
• Negotiate price and manage contracts with suppliers;
• Lead team to actively serve accounts on fabric and materials sourcing;
• Closely monitor and ensure the purchase order management runs effectively and efficiently to support the supply chain;
• Improve the purchasing process and raw material stock turnover;
• Lead, coach, and strengthen the team to meet the requirement of internal customers;

Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing or related disciplines
• Min. 8 years proven track record of apparel and accessories sourcing and procurement in the garment manufacturing industry, preferably in knitwear
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and sourcing skills
• Good command of English and Chinese. Solid PRC experience
• Station 5 days in Guangdong Province per week with occasional overseas travel
