Job Description:

• Develop and maintain the latest testing standards, SOP, and testing protocols to facilitate new material and product development.
• Perform regular analysis of internal laboratory and third-party laboratory performance and seek for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical insights and risk assessment of material and product testing at the development and production stages.
• Troubleshoot problems and capable of tracking down problems to their root cause with SMART and 5W1H principles.
• Participate in seasonal product line review, provide technical insights, risk assessment and corrective / preventive recommendation to prevent foreseeable product compliance risk.
• Manage third-party lab contactor performance in report review and approval in timely manner.
• Ensure all vendors and suppliers follow testing procedure and all testing is done in accordance to Performance Testing Manuals.
• Communicate and inform internal / external stakeholders for the latest product compliance procedures and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Textile Chemistry or related discipline.
• Min. 8 years relevant experience in multinational textile organization or testing laboratory.
• Min. 2 years in supervisory role.
• Solid technical knowledge of fabric and garment processing.
• Sound knowledge in lab testing process and international test methods.
• Good understanding of international regulations, such as product labeling, CPSIA, China GB standards, environmental claims, biocidal products regulation, and PPE.
• Knowledge in ISO 17025 is an advantage.
